Despite difficulties shooting from the field, the No. 13 Oakland Mills girls basketball team pulled out a 41-37 win Wednesday over visiting Reservoir. Jasmine Hill had 16 points for the Scorpions (12-1), who led 17-10 at halftime.
No. 2 Digital Harbor 44, Patterson 4: A fast-scoring transition offense and a 2-3 zone that troubled the Clippers all game led to a 44-4 victory for the host Rams.
Patterson scored all of its points from the foul line, going 4-for-10. Patterson went 0-for-15 on field-goal attempts. A'Lexus Harrison led the Rams (9-4) with 14 points.
No. 4 Archbishop Spalding 80, St.Frances 38: The host Panthers hung with the Cavaliers (10-5) for one quarter before tough defense limited the visitors to eight points in each of the second and third quarters. Spalding led 19-10 after one before outscoring St. Frances 17-8 in the second and 22-8 in the third. Tori Chestnut led the Cavaliers with 15 points and Camille Calhoun had 13.
No. 8 Roland Park 46, Severn 26: Daisy Alaeze scored a game-high 15 points as the visiting Reds (9-6) beat the Admirals. Roland Park led 26-11 at the half.
No. 14 Catonsville 47, Kenwood 30: Eleven of 14 Comets scored to pace host Catonsville (10-1) past the Bluebirds. The Comets led 12-6 after the first quarter and pushed the lead to as many as 15 points in the second half. Lauren McDonald led the Comets with seven points.Copyright © 2015, Los Angeles Times
