No. 1 Garrison Forest 5, St. Mary's 0: The host Grizzlies (19-0) collected their 14th shutout without Kendall Kuntz or Ariyel Yavalar making a single save in an Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference quarterfinal.
Erica Marshall and Bayly Jarrett led the offense with two goals each.
Garrison hosts No. 13 Notre Dame Prep in today's semifinal at 3:30 p.m.
No. 5 Bryn Mawr 6, Severn 2: Molly Danko scored twice to power the host Mawrtians past the Admirals in an IAAM A Conference quarterfinal. Claire Edelman made two saves for Bryn Mawr, and Severn's Sydney Zarnello had 13.
No. 13 Notre Dame Prep 2, Archbishop Spalding 1: Anne Federico had a goal and an assist for the host Blazers (11-5) in an IAAM A Conference quarterfinal.
Friends 1, Glenelg County School 0, 2OT: Nikki Frank was able to slip a shot past Dragons goalie Sarah Bates in an IAAM B Conference semifinal at Blandair Regional Park.
No. 1 Archbishop Curley 4, John Carroll 1: Kyle Mizell led the way for the Friars with two goals to help them clinch a first-round bye in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference playoffs. Curley goalie Jake Ossie had five saves.
No. 7 Mount St. Joseph 3, Archbishop Spalding 0: Danny Kaiser had a part in every goal scored by the host Gaels (9-8), with two goals and an assist. Mount St. Joseph secured a playoff spot in the MIAA A Conference and knocked the Cavaliers out of the postseason.
No. 8 Calvert Hall 1, No.3 McDonogh 0, 2OT: Jacob Bender made a 17-yard pass to Jason Will, who scored the game-winner from 18 yards out, as the host Cardinals (8-8-1) upset the Eagles (10-3-3).
The win clinched a fifth or sixth seed in the MIAA AConference playoffs.
No. 9 St. Paul's 2, Friends 1: Iliyas Mirza and Mason Witzler each scored a goal for the host Crusaders.
No. 15 North Harford 6, Patapsco 0: Kyle Six had three goals and the host Hawks (13-1-1) beat the Patriots in a Class 3A North regional quarterfinal. North Harford hosts the winner of C.M. Wright/Towson today at 6 p.m.
Poly 1, Springbrook 0: Tajah Toran scored the game-winner with 27 minutes left in the first half for the host Engineers (12-1) in a Class 4A North regional semifinal. Poly faces host Sherwood today at 3p.m.
Institute of Notre Dame 6, Catholic 1: Julia Webb scored twice to lead the host Indians (15-3-1) past the Cubs in an IAAM B Conference quarterfinal. IND faces the winner of St. Paul's/St. Mary's Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Meadowood Park.
