Bubba Smith

As an athlete: Smith distinguished himself as one of the great defensive lineman in college football history during his tenure at Michigan State in the 1960s. He went on to stardom with the Baltimore Colts and won Super Bowl V with the team. As an actor: Smith was an integral part of Miller Lite's often hilarious ad campaigns of the 1980s, but his movie career took off (albeit briefly) when he appeared in the "Police Academy" movies as florist-turned-cop Moses Hightower.
