From Bloomberg News

Google Inc. is testing software that will help U.S. radio stations sell advertisements to its customers as the company strives to gain sources of revenue beyond the Web.

A small number of clients are buying radio ads using the new software, Mountain View, Calif.-based Google said. They can upload their radio spots to Google and indicate how much they plan to spend.

Google’s system lets companies decide where the ads will run, the stations they will play on and at what time, Google said.
