  • Why the conspicuous absence of Christopher Knight, the most vocal LA Times critic about this controversy? And I think that comment about the LA/NYC dichotomy a bit disingenous. The NY Times seems just as baffled and dismayed that LACMA lost out on such an important collection as the LA Times was.

  • It's amusing that Broad considers LACMA and the Met to be peers. And just think,the Met got there without Broad's guidance.
