Walter and Deanna Zivalic invested countless hours and estimate that they spent about $150,000 re-creating late artist Benji Okubo's Zen-inspired retreat,.which he built on the top of Mt. Washington in 1953. The Zivalics purchased the home four years ago from Okubo's widow, Chisato Okubo.
