“Beauty Shop”

After playing the effervescent widowed stylist Gina in “Barbershop 2: Back in Business,” Queen Latifah got her own 2005 comedy. This time around, Gina moves from Chicago to Atlanta where she works in a salon run by the demanding, flamboyant Jorge ( Kevin Bacon). The Queen is sick of playing second fiddle to Jorge, so she takes her two best clients ( Mena Suvari and Andie McDowell) and opens her own shop. Sudsy fun.
