2011 Chevrolet Volt

Kelley Blue Book calls the Volt “a genuine revolution in automotive transportation.” Essentially it is a plug-in hybrid. The car runs on electricity for 30 to 50 miles, depending on weather and driving conditions, and then a gasoline powered engine kicks in, recharging the batteries and extending the range to more than 300 miles.
