Motorists in California are finding lower prices at the pump.
The average price of a gallon of gasoline in the Golden State has dropped 5 cents to $3.92 on Friday, according to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report.
The decline can be seen in many areas of Southern California.
In Los Angeles and Long Beach, for example, a gallon of gas now costs an average $3.96, down 7 cents from a week ago.
Gas prices in Orange County also fell 7 cents to $3.94, while San Diego fell 6 cents to $3.95 a gallon.
Experts say that barring further conflict in the Middle East or some sort of weather disturbance, oil prices should continue falling through Labor Day. Gas consumption is down compared to last year and oil production is up.
