A Sonoma County estate with a recording studio that has been used to produce albums for Third Eye Blind, Tracy Chapman and Duran Duran, among others, has come on the market at $5.3 million.
Encompassing more than eight acres, the wine country compound includes a gated main house with five bedrooms, five bathrooms and seven fireplaces built in a 1760s Colonial style.
There are also two guesthouses, a theater/entertainment building, a gym/cabana building and the recording studio.
Also on the grounds are a tennis court, a swimming pool, a poolside kitchen, a greenhouse, vegetable gardens and three horse pastures.
Singer-songwriter and producer Bill Zabit is the seller.
Bob Hurwitz of Hurwitz James Co. is the listing agent.
