Matthew D. Kring, an employee of Dave Kring Chevrolet-Cadillac in Petoskey, graduated Aug. 12 from the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy in McLean, Va.
Matt Kring was honored at a graduated ceremony at the Westwood Country Club in McLean, Va.
The Dealer Candidate Academy is a management education and training center for current and future automobile and truck dealers and managers. It is led by NADA University, a division of the National Automobile Dealers Association, and is designed to build business performance, leadership skills and customer service in all areas of the dealership.
Kring was among 26 dealers and managers from around the nation to graduate from the academy in this class, following 11 months of intensive classroom and in-dealership training.
Kring has worked in nearly every department of the Petoskey dealership since 2003. He graduated from Northwood University in Midland with a bachelor of business administration degree in 2010. His father, Dave Kring, currently owns the Chevrolet-Cadillac dealership.
