Warriors’ Andre Iguodala sheds some real estate in Sherman Oaks
Golden State Warriors sixth man Andre Iguodala has passed his home in Sherman Oaks on to a new owner, selling the gated Mediterranean for $1.425 million.
Iguodala bought the two-story house on a cul-de-sac in 2009 for $1.05 million and, in recent years, had leased it out for as much as $6,700 a month. The property came up for sale in late January for $1.75 million and was more recently listed at $1.5 million, records show.
Built in 2007, the home features dark wood and mosaic tile floors, arched doors and vaulted ceilings throughout the 3,972 square feet of interiors. In the foyer, a staircase with decorative tile risers and detailed ironwork adds visual interest.
Other common areas include formal living and dining rooms, a loft/bonus room and an eat-in kitchen with a center island. The master suite, one of five bedrooms and five bathrooms, has French doors that open to a balcony overlooking the grounds.
A patio, lawns and mature trees complete the setting. There’s also a two-car garage.

Iguodala, 32, again reprised his sixth-man role for the Warriors last year, averaging a well-rounded 7 points, 4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 65 games played. The veteran guard-forward was an all-star in 2012 and the NBA Finals’ Most Valuable Player a season ago.
