Musician Beck’s latest release is a Santa Monica house he bought in February

Share

Beck and his wife, actress Marissa Ribisi, have sold a Santa Monica house they bought in February for $2.9 million.

They paid $2.711 million for the Tudor-style home and, if listing photos are any indication, put a lot of white paint into the place.

Within the 2,521 square feet are white living and dining rooms, a white den/office, a white kitchen with a white breakfast area, a white bonus room, four white bedrooms and three white bathrooms. Did we mention the interiors are white? Even the oven is white. The floors are quarter-sawn oak.

Lawn surrounds the boxy 1920s single-story, which is sheltered by mature trees. There’s a large brick patio at the rear of the house.

Singer-songwriter Beck, 45, won an album of the year Grammy this year for “Morning Phase” and released the new single “Dreams.”

Ribisi, 40, was in the 1990s films “Dazed and Confused,” “Pleasantville” and “Some Girl.”

Simon Salloom of Coldwell Banker was the listing agent. Syrus Jamneshan of Coldwell Banker represented the buyer.
