Celine Dion drops the price on her Jupiter Island estate by $27 million

In the world of luxury features, perhaps home water parks are not such a big draw. Singer Celine Dion has been seeking a buyer for her estate on Jupiter Island, Fla., for more than two years now -- ever since she listed the place for $72.5 million. The asking price is now at $45.5 million.

She’s got a lot packed on the 5.7-acre property. The impressive aquatic center includes a 500,000-gallon water park with two swimming pools that interconnect. Twisting water slides, a slow current “lazy river” and a bridge are among the other features. Plus, there’s an infinity-style pool overlooking the ocean.

Then there’s the main house, two four-bedroom guesthouses, a tennis house, a pool house with a kitchen and a beach house with a massage room and a sleeping loft. That’s about 22,775 square feet of interior space with five fireplaces, a fitness room, a home theater, a home office, 17 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms.

The sprawling waterfront home, custom-built for the five-time Grammy winner in 2010, is Bahamian-inspired.

A sandy beach 415 feet long makes up one boundary of the property.

Jupiter Island has been home to such notables as professional golfers Tiger Woods, Greg Norman and Lee Trevino, Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti and George W. Bush’s grandmother, Dorothy Walker Bush, according to various media reports.

Dion, 47, is a top recording artist. Among the Canadian’s English-language albums are the Grammy Award-winning “Falling Into You” and “Let’s Talk About Love.”

Fenton Lang Bruner & Associates, an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, has the listing.
