Musician and television host Dave Navarro has sold a renovated home in the historic Larchmont area of Los Angeles for the asking price of $1.695 million.

Navarro, who found a more contemporary setting for himself in January, bought the house two years ago for $1.55 million.

Tucked behind wrought iron gates, the property includes a 1920s bungalow of roughly 2,100 square feet and a detached garage. A 620-square-foot guest apartment with one bedroom and one bathroom sits above the garage.

Inside, open-plan interiors were updated with blond hardwood floors, light hues and recessed lighting throughout. Custom gray cabinetry and stainless steel appliances lend a contemporary look to the kitchen.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, including the master suite, which has black carpeting and a glass-enclosed shower.

A patio sits off the rear of the main house.

Skyler Hynes of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage handled both ends of the transaction, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
