David Arquette drops $7.15 million on Craftsman home

David Arquette, executive producer of “Cougar Town,” has found his own cougar of sorts in buying an early 1900s Craftsman home more than twice his age in the Windsor Square area of Los Angeles for $7.15 million.

The charms of the beautifully restored Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument are apparent. Handcrafted mahogany doors open to a wood-paneled foyer, six fireplaces serve as a reminder of a time when they were used for heating and the interiors retain an old world atmosphere.

Some 9,700 square feet of living space includes formal living and dining rooms, a den, a family room, a bar, seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms.

The three-quarters of an acre of grounds contain mature trees, lawn, a swimming pool with a spa, and a pond.

Arquette, 43, has been executive producer of “Cougar Town” since 2009. His scores of acting credits include the “Scream” films, “Conception” (2011) and “Never Been Kissed” (1999).

Hat tips goes to Real Estalker for spotting the purchase.

Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker and Aaron Revere of Keller Williams were the listing agents. Jonah Wilson of Hilton & Hyland represented Arquette.
