Deana Carter sells her Spanish bungalow in Melrose Village

Country singer-songwriter Deana Carter has sold her Spanish-style bungalow near West Hollywood for $836,000.

Found in the Melrose Village neighborhood, the 1926 residence features hardwood flooring, built-ins and a wood-burning fireplace. The 1,080 square feet of living space includes a living room, an updated kitchen, a breakfast area, two bedrooms and one bathroom in 1,080 square feet.

French doors off each bedroom lead to a patio area with a fountain and outdoor speakers.

Carter, known for the song “Strawberry Wine” off her debut album, “Did I Shave My Legs for This,” put the home on the market in October at $839,000. She paid $579,500 for the property in 2003, public records show.

Jimmy Martinez of Partners Trust, Beverly Hills, was the listing agent, according to the Multiple Listing Service. Steve Sanders of John Aaroe Group represented the buyer in the sale.
