Earl Watson and Joy Taylor are getting serious in the San Fernando Valley.

The former pro basketball player/coach and his radio host girlfriend have bought a newly built home in Encino for $2.75 million, real estate records show.

Fenced and hedged from the street, the contemporary-style house has about 5,000 square feet of living space, five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.

Largely devoted to open-plan space, the main floor features an eye-catching kitchen with European cabinetry and a long island that extends towards the dining room. A glass-enclosed wine wall faces the dining area. Adjacent is the living room, which has a wall fireplace.

A floating staircase connects to the second-floor landing, where pocketing glass walls enclose a patio with a fireplace. Balconies extending from the master bedroom and bathroom create additional space outdoors.

Outside, there’s a zero-edge swimming pool, a spa and a built-in barbecue. A two-car garage sits off the front.

The property had been listed for $2.895 million at the time of the sale, property records show.

Watson, 39, has ties to Los Angeles having been a four-year starter at UCLA. The former point guard notched 13 seasons in the NBA for six different franchises, and served as head coach of the Phoenix Suns from 2016 to 2017.

Taylor, 32, is co-host of the sports talk show “The Herd With Colin Cowherd” on Fox Sports Radio and Fox Sports 1. She previously hosted the sports show “Skip and Shannon: Undisputed.”

Dennis Chernov of Keller Williams Realty was the listing agent. Shauna Walters of Compass represented the buyers, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
