Actor Eddie Kaye Thomas, who stars in the CBS drama “Scorpion,” has bought a home in Venice for about $2.59 million.

Set along the canals, the shingled 1910 bungalow captures the hip spirit of the area with light-filled interiors, outdoor living spaces and two Midcentury-style fireplaces.

Among common rooms is a den, an eat-in kitchen and a living room topped with a row of skylights and wood beams. The master suite has a glass-enclosed shower for a total of two bedrooms and two bathrooms in approximately 1,300 square feet.

French doors off the living room open to a front patio overlooking the canal. Atop the home is a rooftop deck with a large awning.

The house came to market in December for $2.65 million and was under contract in about a month, records show. The exact sale price was $2,591,500.

Tami Pardee and Kerry Ann Sullivan of Pardee Properties were the listing agents. Trevor Lavin of Nourmand & Associates represented the buyer.

The 35-year-old actor is known for his role as Paul Finch in the “American Pie” films. “American Dad!,” “How to Make It in America” and “‘Til Death” are among Thomas’ television credits.

He has another home in Hollywood Hills on the market for about $850,000.
