Janet Leigh's onetime home is listed at $8 million

Janet Leigh's shower is for sale. No, not the one in which the actress was killed in "Psycho," but the one in her former home in Beverly Crest.

The shower is part of 4.5 bathrooms, four bedrooms and 4,400 square feet of remodeled living space priced at $7.95 million. The contemporary estate encompasses more than a half-acre and sits behind gates.

A lighted tennis court, swimming pool, a built-in barbecue and a cabana complete the grounds.

Leigh, who died in 2004 at age 77, starred in "Touch of Evil" (1958) and "The Manchurian Candidate" (1962) but is perhaps best remembered on film in the shower scene of "Psycho" (1960).

Valerie Fitzgerald and Joyce Rey, both with Coldwell Banker, are the listing agents.
