Former pro tennis player Gabriela Sabatini has a penthouse duplex for sale in Key Biscayne, Fla., at $2.89 million. And even though she’s retired, she hasn’t gotten that far away from her sport. The complex has 12 tennis courts.

The 3,138 square feet of living space includes a den/library, five bedrooms and 3.5 remodeled bathrooms. A private rooftop terrace expands the space out of doors and takes in panoramic city, bay and ocean views.

Wooden floors, custom closets and a private gym are among the details. There’s another gym in the 1980s 12-story building as well as an oceanfront swimming pool, al fresco dining and a playground.

Sabatini, 47, won both singles and doubles titles in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including the women’s Grand Slam singles title in the 1990 U.S. Open. She won a silver in the Seoul Olympic Games in 1988. She retired from the sport in 1996.

Giulietta Ulloa of EWM Realty International is the listing agent.
