Jeremy Renner, Kristoffer Winters sell mansion for $24 million

Actors Jeremy Renner and Kristoffer Winters have sold their latest house remodel in Holmby Hills for $24 million. The buyer of the Roaring ‘20s Art Deco-style mansion, which was listed at $24.95 million, is British luxury property developer Nick Candy.

The Reserve, which has a wine cellar, a theater, five fireplaces, six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and 10,005 square feet of living space, was sold furnished and toothbrush ready. Among items included were a stocked bar and linens. The two-acre property features gates, a cobblestone driveway and a swimming pool with spa.

Renner and Winters have been buying and redoing residential properties for more than a decade. The mansion is a showcase of Winters’ work, although property records show ownership was in a trust they have used jointly in the past.

The project, their most ambitious to date, was the subject of an Esquire article last year.

The property was purchased in 2010 for $7 million, public records show.

Candy has become well-known in area real estate circles, having looked at scores of homes with multiple brokers before selecting this one, report local real estate agents.

Renner, 42, was nominated for an Oscar for his work in “The Hurt Locker” (2008) and “The Town” (2010). He starred in “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol” (2011) and “The Bourne Legacy” (2012). His work this year includes “Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters.”

Rayni Romito and Branden Williams of Hilton & Hyland were the listing agents. Barry Peele and Andrew Clark of Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.
