Matt Leinart is on the move in the South Bay.

The former USC quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner has put his home in Manhattan Beach back on the market for about $2.4 million, up from $2.059 million last year.

The 2,135-square-foot home, built in 1971 and recently updated, has an open-area floor plan with a modern kitchen, a breakfast bar, a great room with a fireplace, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. A pair of wraparound decks take in ocean views.

Interior and exterior spiral staircases extend to each level of the three-story home. Off of the main floor is a small yard and awning.

Leinart purchased the home in 2012 for $1.45 million, records show. The property currently shows a status of pending sale, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

Nicholas Schneider of Palm Realty Boutique has the listing.

Leinart, 31, retired last year after six seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders. He currently serves as a studio analyst for the Pac-12 Networks.
