USC football Coach Steve Sarkisian has put his home in Rolling Hills on the market for $9.5 million.

Sarkisian, who in April announced that he and his wife, Stephanie, are in the process of getting a divorce, bought the house last year for $8 million.

Set on 5.21 acres, the gated estate is accessed by a stone driveway and includes a swimming pool with a spa, a tennis court, a 2,200-gallon koi pond, a putting green and a 500-tree fruit orchard.

The ranch-style house, built in 1987, was recently renovated and features a formal entry, broad archways, wood-beamed ceilings, delicate wainscoting and 18 televisions throughout the 8,250 square feet of space.

Among public areas are formal living and dining rooms, an open-area kitchen, a catering kitchen and a media room. A lower-level wine cellar features temperature-controlled storage and a tasting area.

The master suite sports a fireplace, an office/exercise room and his and hers walk-in closets. There are five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and six fireplaces in all.

Outdoors, a large, covered pavilion with another fireplace, a kegerator and a built-in barbecue sits adjacent to the pool and spa. Marking the entrance to the home is a cobblestone porte-cochere.

Sarkisian, 41, returned to USC, where he previously served as an assistant to current Seattle Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll, in December 2013 after five seasons with the University of Washington. He led the Trojans to a 9-4 record last year, culminating with a win against Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl.

Chris Adlam of Vista Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent.
