It has been 35 years since Stallone, 64, first starred as boxer Rocky Balboa in the "Rocky" movie series. The man who went on to play John Rambo in "First Blood" (1982) more recently starred in "The Expendables" (2010).
Public records show he purchased the house in 2008 for $4.85 million. An adjacent lot he bought at the same time is listed at $1.65 million.

Los Feliz place charms a buyer
Actress Rose McGowan has sold her Los Feliz home for $1,775,000.
The gated 1928 Spanish villa has a grand entry, a step-down living room with a vaulted beamed ceiling and arched windows. Its 4,278 square feet include four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Television audiences know the 37-year-old from "Charmed" (2001-06). She stars as a villainess in the "Conan the Barbarian" movie due this summer.
McGowan bought the property in 2004 for $1,850,000, according to public records.
