A new scene for ‘Twilight’ stars
A Westside compound that “Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had been leasing for the last several months has come on the market at $5.995 million.
Built in the 1990s, the west-facing property encompasses almost half an acre and overlooks Stone Canyon Reservoir and Bel-Air.
The main house features an open-plan living and dining room, a den, four bedrooms and 31/2 bathrooms. The recently renovated guesthouse contains an additional bedroom and 11/2 bathrooms. A pool, a spa and a dining pavilion are outdoors.

Pattinson, 25, and Stewart, 21, have starred in the “Twilight Saga” series of films since the original “Twilight” vampire romance movie in 2008. “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1,” which opened last month, was the No. 1 film at the box office over the five-day Thanksgiving period, according to an estimate from distributor Summit Entertainment. “Breaking Dawn — Part 2” is set for release next year.

Extra office space in Santa Monica
Mike Judge, creator and star of the animated comedy “King of the Hill,” has bought a Santa Monica house from Richard Taite, chief executive of the Cliffside Malibu rehab facility, for $4.45 million.
The two-story contemporary Mediterranean, built in the mid-1970s, features three stone fireplaces, custom ironwork, wood-beam ceilings and mosaic tile work. The four-bedroom, 41/2-bathroom house includes a gym in its more than 3,700 square feet of living space. There is also a detached office-guesthouse.
The animator and voice actor, 49, created and stars in MTV’s “Beavis and Butt-Head.” He has won two Emmys. Judge’s films include the 1999 satire “Office Space.”
The property, which Taite bought in 2009 for $3.6 million, had been listed at $4.895 million.
Dawn Robertson of Keller Williams Beverly Hills was the listing agent, and Joseph Tourtelot of Coldwell Banker Malibu represented Judge, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
Moving a short drive away?
Professional golfer Fred Couples has listed his second home in La Quinta at $4.195 million.
The Spanish-style villa has a courtyard with a fountain. The nearly half-acre site has mountain views, a swimming pool with a spa and a fire pit. Interior features include limestone and wood floors, arched windows, a great room with an oversized stone fireplace, a wine room and two master suites with stone fireplaces and terraces. There are four bedrooms and 41/2 bathrooms. The roughly 5,200-square-foot house is being sold furnished.
Among community amenities are two fitness centers, a swimming pool and a private golf course designed by Tom Fazio.
Couples, 52, uses the house as a place to relax at the end of the golf season. He joined the PGA Tour in 1982 and the Champions Tour last year. Among his wins are the 1992 Masters Tournament and this year’s Senior Players Championship.
He is selling because he plans to build a custom home in the same development. Public records show Couples bought the property in 2009 for $3,047,500.

A change of venue for TV judge
Greg Mathis, star of the reality show “Judge Mathis,” and his wife, Linda, have sold their gated Beverly Hills Post Office-area home for $5.28 million.
The remodeled Mediterranean-style house, built in 1990, features a two-story grand entry, four bedrooms, seven bathrooms and 7,755 square feet of living space in two stories. The estate includes a swimming pool with a spa. The property, more than half an acre in size, features city views.
The Detroit-born Mathis, 51, has starred on the five-day-a-week show since the late 1990s. The syndicated series has been renewed through 2012.
The property last changed hands in 2005 for $4.75 million, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
The couple sold because they are moving to a house with a larger lot and more privacy, said listing agent Dee Crawford of Keller Williams Realty in Beverly Hills. Charles Moh of Long Dragon Realty represented the buyer.
Record exec lists house in Hollywood Hills
Record producer David Anderle has put his longtime Hollywood Hills home up for sale at $4.75 million.
Built in the 1920s, the Spanish-style villa was once a speak-easy. Details include decorative tile work and beamed ceilings. The three-bedroom, four-bathroom house contains 3,813 square feet of living space and sits on a third of an acre.
The former A&M Records executive produced songs for Rita Coolidge, Kris Kristofferson and the Circle Jerks, among others. He worked with Brian Wilson to help him form Brother Records.

Producer Janet Healy has sold her Silver Lake area house to actors Zach Gilford and Kiele Sanchez for $1.435 million.
The Spanish-style house, built in the 1930s, features a stained-glass window in the living room, a paneled library with a bar, a media room and an office. The 3,900-square-foot home has three bedrooms and 31/2 bathrooms. The walled grounds includes terraces, fountains and tile murals.
Zach Gilford, 29, was a regular on the TV series “Friday Night Lights” (2006-11). This year he was also in the medical drama “Off the Map.”
Kiele Sanchez, 35, has starred on “The Glades” since 2010. She was on “Lost” in 2006 and 2007.
Healy’s credits include the films “Despicable Me” (2010) and “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax,” set for release in March. She bought the house in 2007 for $1.7 million, public records show.
