Short sale for ex-Dodger Eric Davis
Former Dodger Eric Davis has sold his home in Calabasas as a short sale for $1.8 million.
Built in 1994, the Mediterranean-style house sits on a half-acre lot with a swimming pool, spa and half basketball court. The 7,239-square-foot home contains a media room with a wet bar, an office, four bedrooms and six bathrooms.
The retired center fielder, 50, played for the Dodgers in the early 1990s and ended his playing career with the San Francisco Giants in 2001. The Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer, who played there from 1984 to 1991, is a roving instructor for the team.
Public records show he bought the property in 2001 for $1.65 million.
David Yobs of Prudential California Realty was the listing agent, and Soheila Mirfakhrai of Prudential represented the buyer.
