Kate Walsh puts Los Feliz home back on market
Actress Kate Walsh has put her Spanish-style estate in Los Feliz back on the market at $3,995,000. She had listed it at $4,295,000 early last year.
The gated home retains its 1920s details in the intricately tiled main hall and staircase, arched windows and passageways, and stenciled beamed ceilings. A formal dining room with an oval inset ceiling, a wine room, a den-media room, breakfast room, five fireplaces and four bedrooms — one of which was turned into a walk-in closet — are part of the 5,940 square feet of living space in the two-story house. The home has been updated to include a combined kitchen-family room and an upstairs laundry.
The one-third-acre grounds have a swimming pool with spa, a pool house with a bathroom, an outdoor fireplace, an outdoor cooking center, an alfresco dining area and a circular driveway. The garage was converted into a gym and two offices.
Walsh, 43, stars as Dr. Addison Montgomery on “Private Practice” (2007-present), a spinoff of “Grey’s Anatomy,” on which she played the same character starting in 2005.
She bought the house in 2007 for $4.75 million, according to public records.
