is on the market at $4.25 million, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

The single-story main home, built in 1966, has mountain and ocean views and is zoned for equestrian use. Its 2,313 square feet of living space include three bedrooms, two bathrooms and maid's quarters.
Nicholson, 73, won
for his roles in
(1975), "Terms of Endearment" (1983) and "As Good as It Gets" (1997) during a career that also has included playing lawyer George Hanson in "Easy Rider" (1969) and maniacal villain Jack Torrance in "The Shining" (1980).
A spokesperson for Nicholson did not respond to requests for comment. Public records show he bought the Malibu retreat in 1977 and owns multiple properties in
and Ventura counties, including an estate in
Rodrigo Iglesias and Richard Hilton of Hilton & Hyland, Beverly Hills, are the listing agents, according the MLS.
