A Malibu property owned by actor Jack Nicholson is on the market at $4.25 million, according to the Multiple Listing Service.

The 70-acre site includes a ranch-style main house, a caretaker home, a tennis court, a cabana, a putting green, a swimming pool and a grotto-style spa. The single-story main home, built in 1966, has mountain and ocean views and is zoned for equestrian use. Its 2,313 square feet of living space include three bedrooms, two bathrooms and maid’s quarters.

Nicholson, 73, won Oscars for his roles in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” (1975), “Terms of Endearment” (1983) and “As Good as It Gets” (1997) during a career that also has included playing lawyer George Hanson in “Easy Rider” (1969) and maniacal villain Jack Torrance in “The Shining” (1980).

A spokesperson for Nicholson did not respond to requests for comment. Public records show he bought the Malibu retreat in 1977 and owns multiple properties in Los Angeles and Ventura counties, including an estate in Beverly Hills.
