Don’t expect Brad O’Leary, author of “The Audacity of Deceit,” to be lining up along the inaugural parade route hoping to shake our new president’s hand.

Aside from writing a book critical of Obama’s policies, O’Leary is much too busy trying to sell his Beverly Hills-area home. The 9,955-square-foot house, with seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, is listed at $5,499,000.

The gated Mediterranean estate has great outdoor space, including a covered veranda with a fireplace for dining al fresco. There is a pool with a bar and an additional 1,000-square-foot, four-room guesthouse.

The home has formal dining and living rooms with high ceilings and views.

O’Leary, the author of 11 books, is the former president of the American Assn. of Political Consultants. He did a 10-year stint as a talk show host on NBC/Westwood One, drawing 2 million listeners daily.

O’Leary produced more than two dozen TV specials, including shows on President Reagan and Pope John Paul II, and appears frequently on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends.”

Jordana L. Leigh of Prudential California Realty is the listing agent.
