Who doesn’t love to curl up in front of the fireplace with a good mystery? Perhaps the sellers of this Holmby Hills home will toss in a few books with the house they listed at $5.9 million; they own the Mystery Bookstore in Westwood.

The Mediterranean-style home belonging to Pam Woods and Kirk Pasich has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms in 7,800 square feet. It also has a grand entry that leads to an open living room with high ceilings. The home has hardwood and marble floors throughout. The gourmet kitchen features Viking appliances. The master bedroom suite is on the first floor and includes a spa tub. There are three bedrooms on the second floor, each with a private bathroom. Additionally, there is a private guest apartment, a gym and a game room. The home has a pool, a barbecue patio and a maid’s room.

The Mystery Bookstore, a Los Angeles institution, frequently features signings by leading authors of mysteries. Woods and Pasich, both lawyers, bought the bookstore last November to preserve it as an independent bookseller. The store’s website is www.mystery-bookstore.com/blog.
