NFL in L.A.?
What do you think of the latest plan for an NFL stadium in L.A.?

1. Wow! If this doesn't open your eyes to the gross abuse of government at all levels of definately "soecial interest"groups to bilk the taxpayers out of their money, I don't know what will. Do we need an NFL team out of LA that badly? What we need to do is to rid our city of people like the rolling tacos and their blatant middle fingers to a LAW that was recently passed to limit their presence in neighborhoods. Maybe the taxpayers should petition a bil that would allow individuals to choose how their tax money is spent within the city's programs and services. That would probably be giving too much power to the people.

5. Rudy #27 and Annoyed #17 are naive; there is a plan – stalled, not dead – to get at tax money which subsidize the stadium's roads and similar public needs. So Bill #9 is right on: "Billionares don't become billionares using their own money. Don't be fooled."

6. Raised in Los Angeles i use work for the Dodgers and Rams and i think the people of L.A. is starving for a team, it's not the same watching football on sundays and rooting for a team from another state because we don't have 1. I disowned the Rams and Raiders when they left town. Now i just watch football but i don't really root for a particular team because were not represented. And im sure im not the olny 1 who feels that way. I don't understand how the NFL can let the second largest market go this long without a team, i think there missing out on a lot of money. L.A. needs a team

8. We have a pro team. Actually now two of them. USC and UCLA. Love that we don't have to deal with the crappola of the NFL. But if we do get a team I don't want the rancid smell of the Raiders back in this town, and all the undesireables that latch to them, including the sports analysts who still think they play here. Give em up Jim Hill! Would love to see the Rams come back, and have Steve Rosenbloom have a hand in managing them. There would be a lot of justice in that notion.

9. jack, you obviosuly don't know jack about the NFL. You calling the San Diego Chargers a third rate team is imbicilic at best. I am a die hard Raider fan, but to discount the team that has won 3 of the last 4 AFC West titles and went to the AFC Championship game is showing how ignorant you are. A third rate team? This isn't 1998 and the Leaf era. They will be contenders and seeing them in LA is not a bad idea. Third rate team. What a wanker-wanna be sports fan in disguise you are!

10. Welcome Back NFL! Finally a plan outside of local government! Compared to other large US cities, we have the best Prep & College football in the nation. If we get a good owner, we will be the 'Yankees' of the NFL and the first sports franchise worth $2 billion. Our team name could have a corporate tie in like: LA Power, LA Fox, or even the LA Times. Hey, LA Saints, LA Jaguars, or LA Vikings will be just fine also! Let's get it started. NFLLA.org
