Samsung is holding a media event at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, during which it is expected to unveil the Galaxy S 5.

The South Korean tech giant teased the event earlier this month with an image that seemed to imply the company will unveil the latest version of its flagship smartphone.

The latest rumors surrounding the Galaxy S 5 said the device will feature a drastically redesigned user interface.

Some reports have also said that Samsung will include a fingerprint-scanning feature similar to the one Apple included on the iPhone 5s.

This past weekend, Samsung announced two new smartwatches -- the Gear 2 and the Gear 2 Neo -- at Mobile World Congress.
