No one saw it coming -- certainly not the show's producers -- but after she became an immediate icon during the first season of "Charlie's Angels," Farrah Fawcett announced she wouldn't be back, since she had designs on launching a movie career. Thanks to something called a contract, the series' makers had designs on a lawsuit; it was settled with Fawcett being freed as a regular on the show, though she had to return in a number of guest appearances as Jill Munroe. |
