A 1939 file photo of the interior of Wrights S.C. Johnson & Son Administration Building shows the lily pad-shaped columns of the buildings Great Workroom. Natural flight flooded into the interior from rooftop skylights and a band of glass tubing located at the place where the walls would typically meet the ceiling. Wright custom-designed the curving desks, with their wood surfaces and curving metal. Steelcase Corp. made the desks.
