For the younger set

"Pinkalicious: The Musical" is the children's show by Emerald City Theatre that has stretched into a long run at the Broadway Playhouse. Directed by Ernie Nolan with music and lyrics by John Gregor, it's based on the children's book by Elizabeth and Victoria Kann about a girl who eats one too many pink cupcakes and turns pink from head to toe. "If you have a lover of pink (or of cupcakes) under your roof, you'll appreciate the way this show celebrates family, healthy living and, well, moderation in all things," wrote Chris Jones in his review last summer. Special productions for Valentine's Day weekend add a "pink carpet" and Valentine's treats in the lobby. Singles, couples: Make room for families. Details: 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Broadway Playhouse, 175 E. Chestnut St. $16-$22; 800-775-2000 or
