This Land is Our Land

Former Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello has been about protest and dissent since before he joined forces with firebrand vocalist Zack de la Rocha. Now that Rage isn't raging, Morello hasn't stopped exploring protest and dissent. He's part of a concert presentation, "This Land is Our Land," that looks at folk and protest music from the likes of Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger in a way that makes it rock. Hard. Also part of the bill are The Klezmatics, Holly Near and the omnipresent Jon Langford. Given that the world will be converging on Chicago, the promised "special guests" could be memorable. 8 p.m. Sat. at Metro, 3730 N. Clark St. $25; or
