Red Hot Chili Peppers

"I'm With You" is the latest album for the Red Hot Chili Peppers (a Grammy-nominated one at that), and there's a tour to go with it. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers' tour comes to the Allstate Arena on Monday. For almost 28 years (yes, it's been that long since the band's debut album), RHCP has turned live performances at festivals, small venues, arenas and awards shows into a wild band jam of hits -- and whatever musical improvisation happens in between. Why go: Drummer Chad Smith skipped the Chickenfoot tour to be in full RHCP mode. Reconsider: You have nothing left after party rocking with LMFAO at the Allstate Arena on Saturday. 7:30 p.m. Monday at Allstate Arena, 6920 N. Mannheim Road, Rosemont; $39.50-$59.50; 800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com
