( August 14, 2012 ) The first-rate 2009 film "Adventureland," a tale of suburban ennui and coming of age at a vintage park, was not based on the former Chicago-area park of that name, but one on Long Island, where director Greg Mottola worked in his youth. It was shot mostly at Kennywood, near Pittsburgh. |
