( Reuters / September 18, 2012 ) Here's another instance where we assumed one backup, but got another. After Ahmad Bradshaw got hurt against the Bucs, it was Brown who stepped in and not rookie David Wilson, who apparently is in the doghouse after fumbling in the opener. Bradshaw missed practice on Tuesday, so this is definitely a situation to monitor. Brown came out of nowhere on Sunday and looked really good, rallying the Giants back from a huge deficit. He definitely is getting some love in NY.
