Trans-Siberian Orchestra's 'The Lost Christmas Eve'

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra will light up the holidays with "The Lost Christmas Eve," a new live performance of its popular rock opera. Concert-goers will see stories unfold that take place on a Christmas Eve in New York at a rundown hotel, toy store, blues bar and cathedral, with a musical production of Paul O'Neill's electric light creation. Why go: Along with orchestra favorites "Christmas Nights in Blue" and "Siberian Sleigh Ride" will be new music from the band's latest, "Dreams of Fireflies (On a Christmas Night)." Reconsider: The lasers, the lights -- My eyes! My eyes! Details: 3 and 8 p.m. Saturday at Allstate Arena, 6920 N. Mannheim Road, Rosemont; $30-$69; 800-745-3000,
