A Texas man was ordered held on $250,000 bond today after being charged with having sexually explicit conversations over the Internet with a 13-year-old girl from Downers Grove.

An arraignment hearing for Rudolph Figueroa, 45, of Corpus Christi, Texas, has been set for July 16 in front of DuPage County Judge Robert Kleeman. Figueroa had been extradited to Illinois, according to the DuPage County State's Attorney's office.

Figueroa has been charged with one count of Grooming, a Class 4 Felony, and additional charges may be forthcoming, the office said Saturday.

The state's attorney's office alleges that since at least March 31, 2012, through June 2, 2012, Figueroa had been in contact with the 13-year-old girl, who he had met on the Internet after responding to YouTube videos she had posted.

Authorities said that on several occasions Figueroa had sexually explicit conversations with the girl, knowing she was 13 years old.
