The case of Drew Peterson

( Tribune photo by David Pierini / May 9, 2009 ) "Look at this bling," murder defendant Drew Peterson shouted as he was led into the Will County Courthouse in Joliet. "Look at this nice, spiffy outfit. Three squares a day." A day after he was arrested on charges that he killed his third wife, Kathleen Savio, in 2004, the former Bolingbrook police sergeant appeared in court for his first hearing, only to have his arraignment postponed to May 18 because Peterson's attorneys weren't present. One of them, Joel Brodsky, was in New York appearing on news shows. |
