Alicia Francis has been named senior project designer at Simeone Deary Design Group. Francis will be responsible for managing and overseeing the efforts of specific design teams as well as executing the interior design process for significant hospitality projects. She comes to the interior design firm from Zimmerman Weintraub Associates, where she managed all aspects of design from schematic to construction documentation and administration. Before Zimmerman Weintraub, Francis held a variety of positions at architecture and design firms including Looney & Associates and Kelly Cleveland Interiors, managing projects including Hotel del Coronado, Hilton Chicago, Hyatt Regency Orange County as well as the Reach Resort and Casa Marina Resort in the Waldorf-Astoria Collection. Francis has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior architecture from Columbia College Chicago. She also has a professional certificate in Alternative and Socially-Conscious Design from Archeworks.
