Amy Stoken has joined the Chicago office of the American Jewish Committee as regional director. Stoken, an attorney, succeeds Dan Elbaum, who has been appointed director of AJC's regional offices and assistant executive director. Stoken previously was Chicago area director of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. Stoken has a J.D. from Georgetown University and a master's in public policy from George Washington University. She has served as a clerk for a federal judge in California and as an aid to the U.S. Supreme Court. She also pent time at law firms McDermott, Will & Emery, and Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.
