Amy Williams, assistant professor, Loyola University Health System

Amy Williams has joined Loyola University Health System as an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences and the Department of Pediatrics. Williams also sees patients at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, and Loyola Center for Children's Health at Oakbrook Terrace North. Williams is a clinical psychologist and specializes in cognitive-behavioral treatment of children and young adults to age of 21. She focuses on medical and physical illness and pain particularly in children with chronic diseases, such as gastrointestinal disorders and cystic fibrosis. Williams has bachelor's and master's degrees and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Tulsa. She also completed an internship and postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology at Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.
