Believing Loria

Believing Loria: Mark Buehrle, Jose Reyes and Heath Bell, free agents who signed with the Marlins last winter, had the rug pulled out from under them when owner Jeffrey Loria disbanded the $102 million team he put together for the launch of Marlins Park. Manager Ozzie Guillen was just as gullible in being lured to South Florida, but it's doubtful he would have had much shelf life on the South Side if he had stayed. He was fired by the Marlins with three seasons left on his four-year, $10 million deal.
