Without the assistance of a judge -- or even an instant replay official -- a
Dale and Judith Talbott filed the court action this week against Judith's brother-in-law, Howard Greenberg, saying he had failed to relinquish two of the four sets of tickets that the Talbotts and Greenberg and his wife, Janice, who is Judith's sister, had shared since 1997.

In the court action, the Talbotts said that this season, Greenberg bought the tickets through the company but refused to make any available to the Talbotts through the first four home games, despite a September letter from the Talbotts' attorney.
The Talbotts filed Monday for a temporary restraining order, and the matter was scheduled for DuPage County court Friday, but the sides reached a settlement, the Talbotts' lawyer, Timothy Klein of Bloomingdale, reported via an email. The terms of the settlement, Klein said, are confidential.
Greenberg did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
