Lit links: Franzen is on Time, Dostoevsky is a bummer and book titles can be too misleading
- Jonathan Franzen on the cover of Time magazine, and 15 other authors who have graced the cover, too.
- Dostoevsky is, apparently, a total downer on public transportation in Moscow.
- Blog and day-maker Better Book Titles delivers exactly what the title promises: book covers with titles altered to give a better idea of what the book is really about. Some not completely suitable for work, but all quite funny, such as Lauren Weisberger's "The Devil Wears Prada" book cover magically transformed to "Shallow People Doing Shallow Things." (hat tip to The Rejectionist).
