Alan Menken) based on the Whoopi Goldbergmovie about a young woman who runs away from gangsters and adds a disco beat to convent life.
- "Grinch" (Dec. 5-16 at the Cadillac
Palace Theatre, 151 W. Randolph St.) is a seasonal, family-oriented show that has twice been on Broadway.
- "Les Miserables" (Nov. 14 to Dec. 2 at the Cadillac Palace) represents another Chicago stand for the revised Cameron Mackintosh touring production of this familiar title.
